Faith Orr has been a hard working and dedicated employee, keen to tackle all types of stories and journalistic tasks.

During her two years with The Oban Times she has helped improve the skill set within the company and her organisational skills have been key to the smooth running of the newsdesk.

Faith is quick to recognise a good news story, researches it well and has the tenacity to follow it through. However, she has also demonstrated sensitivity when the story required.

Her accuracy in note taking meant she was often used to cover the big court stories in the area.

During her spell with The Oban Times she has become proficient in photography and has gained knowledge of page design and layout.

We are sorry to lose a reporter whose skills are well suited to modern-day journalism.
